IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN, AND WE’RE SO GRATEFUL TO HAVE YOUR SUPPORT FOR THE 2026 PANTHER PENTATHLON! THE ONGOING SUSTENANCE FROM THE JCS COMMUNITY CONTINUES TO MAKE OUR SCHOOL SO MUCH MORE THAN THE SUM OF IT’S PARTS. THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF THIS ESSENTIAL PROCESS FOR ALL OF OUR CHILDREN!

So, what is the Panther Pentathlon?

Well more than a decade ago, after a rather dramatic and significant cut to our school’s funding, the idea for the Panther Pentathlon was born. The Pentathlon is a fundraiser of a different sort, we aren’t asking anyone to sell anything or make anything.

The Jacoby Creek Children’s Education Foundation (JCCEF) is the non-profit organization which provides financial support to benefit students at JCS. We are asking our JCS community to help us raise the funds needed to preserve five of our key programs

● The Arts

● Technology

● Athletics

● Social Emotional Learning (including the JCS Garden)

● Foreign Language.

In order to keep these programs functioning and accessible to ALL of our students, JCCEF needs to raise at least $65,000 this fall. And every year (so far!) due to our generous JCS community, we have met that goal!

All students will participate in the celebratory event on October 2nd at school with many super fun activities for the kids!

To make the Pentathlon more inclusive and community-oriented, we no longer have individual prizes, but instead prizes for the entire class.

For each class that raises the totals below, the awards are:

★ $2,000 - a popcorn party!

★ $4,500 - an ice cream party!!

★ The TOP THREE CLASSES - a pizza, ice cream and popcorn party!!!

Suggested donation amounts include:

● School Year Sponsor - $180 a year, $1 for every day of school.

● Dollar-A-Day Club - $365 a year, $1 a day for the entire year.

***The deadline for donations is October 1st at 5 p.m.***

All donations are tax-deductible and directly fund these programs.
