2025 Panther Pentathlon: OCTOBER 3, 2025
Our goal this year is to raise $65,000 to support the following amazing programs at Jacoby Creek School:
DRAMA, ATHLETICS, SPANISH, SOCIAL EMOTIONAL SUPPORT/GARDEN & TECHNOLOGY
So, what is the Panther Pentathlon?
Over a decade ago, after a rather dramatic and significant cut to our school’s funding, the idea for the Panther Pentathlon was born. The Pentathlon is a fundraiser of a different sort, we aren’t asking anyone to sell anything or make anything.
The Jacoby Creek Children’s Education Foundation (JCCEF) is a non-profit organization that provides financial support to benefit students at JCS. Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our Jacoby Creek families, this past year, JCCEF was able to finance the following amazing programs:
● Block Grants - The fabulous range of extracurricular activities for all grades such as Exploration Day, Field Trips, and 2nd Grade Swimming among many others!
● Project Lead the Way - An amazing science curriculum heralded by our very own Nick Dedini that includes Computer Science, Biomedical Sciences, Engineering, and 3D Printing! (Jacoby Creek is the only school in the county using this exciting new curriculum!)
To keep these programs functioning and accessible to ALL of our students, JCCEF has to raise $65,000 this fall. And due to our generous JCS community, we have met that goal every year (so far!)!
The Pentathlon culminates into a day of celebration with fun activities for the entire school! So keep an eye out for more info coming soon! We will have a student rally on Friday, September 12 to kick off the fundraising efforts. Thank you!
